Course Description

Internet of things is the basis for 4th industrial revolution where anything and everything is being connected through internet. From controlling electronics appliances from anywhere in the world from a tap of button to controlling a nuclear plant. Moreover knowledge on IoT systems mandatory for new inventors, industry personnel & professionals at all levels. We discuss about protocols and technologies used in IoT technologies, sending data from sensors to internet, storing, displaying them in dashboards & controlling your IoT devices from websites, smart phones & devices using intuitive practical experiments throughout the course. Every student will be given a IoT device kit at the beginning of the course to tryout practical activities.

4වන කාර්මික විප්ලවයට මූලික වෙමින් භාවිතයේ පවතින සියලූම උපකරණ වර්ග අන්තර්ජාලය හා සම්බන්ද වෙමින් පවතියි. එය ලොව ඕනෑම තැනක සිට තම නිවසේ විදුලි බල්බයක් දැල්වීම/නිවීමේ සිට, න්‍යෂ්ටික බලාගාරයක් දුරස්තව සිට පාලනය කරවීම, දක්වාම පුලුල් පරාසයක යෙදුම් හා භාවිතාවන් දැකිය හැක. එබැවින් අනාගත ලෝකය තුල නව නිපැයුම් කරුවන්ට මෙන්ම, ව්ාපාර මෙන්ම රැකියා ක්ශේත්‍රයටත් නැතිවම බැරි තාක්ශණයක් ලෙස Internet of Things හැදින්විය හැක. මෙම පාඨමාලාවේදී, IoT සඳහා භාවිතා වන ප්‍රොටොකෝල, විවිධ සංවේදක වල දත්ත, අන්තර්ජාලය වෙත යැවීම,නිරූපණය කිරීම හා ගබඩා කිරීම කිරීම,වෙබ් අඩවි/ස්මාර්ට් දුරකථන තුලින් උපකරණ පාලනය කිරීම වැනි කරුණු ප්‍රායෝගික ක්‍රියාකාරකම් වලින් උගන්වනු ලැබේ. ඒ සදහා සෑම සිසුවකුටම උපකරණ කට්ටලයක් පාඨමාලාව ආරම්භ වීමට ප්‍රථම නිවසට ලැබේ.

Online Lecture Setup

Our virtual spaces will provide classes as your usual physical classroom by the use of 4 screens. Even all the students and the instructor are virtual we are maintaining the point-to-point interaction between all participants. Recorded lectures and lecture-materials can also be viewed later.

After free registration, you will be selected to take the course after an aptitude test and a brief interview.
